You might want to add an extra special touch to the gift for your mother by wrapping a brightly colored ribbon around the neck of the jar. For this you need Ivory Snow powdered detergent, water, cookie cutters or molds and food coloring. Make dough for this mom's craft by combining a small amount of water with about half a cup of the detergent. Mix it, adding water and/or extra detergent as necessary. Once it is formed into proper dough, roll it out and use cookie cutters or molds in various shapes that mom would appreciate for her craft. Add food coloring to the water before mixing in order to have colorful, exciting looking soaps for mom! Your mother can display these soaps in her bathroom with pride and they will always be associated with her motherly side that loves beautiful things.
